In contempt of signing this release with one, BHA001 is not the first release on Black Hoe's sublabel, Alimony. After the 'tease release' (which was a one-track-coming-out with 'Show Me How To Cry') the ambitious marching continues with two tunes now which had been scored also by Mystification with two collaborations at this time. Producermates - Blu 3 and Kharon - can show up in both compositions wonderfully: while the heavy and enormous 'Frank' is loud by those 4/4 kicks then the epic 'Chosen For Destruction' is meandering between different music styles in a low key.

In the last few days unfortunatelly there was a server collapse. You might have noticed that Black Hoe site, forum, download and upload pages, e-mails ([email protected] and [email protected]) were not available. Everything seems to be fixed now, but data from the last month has disappeared.

I wasn't too happy about 50MB of artwork towards end of my bandwidth limit (here we have stingy data limits each months for very expensive fees) - also took longer to download, also I never look at the artwork of netreleases so I delete straight away anyway so was waste of DL for me and waste of bandwidth for black hoe

Of course I can't tell You how about the files included on our releases but those artworks ARE parts of the releases just like the music itself. You can be sure there is NO other netlabel which offer a release on that high quality. Feel sorry about Your bandwidth but we cannot remove this kind of stuffs from our releases. no worries Migu I understand, the artwork is very high quality but as I don't have a printer I just delete it. It is all fantastic though and I use some black hoe stuffs for my desktop backgrounds :) I will ALWAYS download all the black hoe you offer for free, it is fantastic stuff and inspirational label - I just wanted to suggest perhaps splitting the files in half for people like me that are in crap internet places :)

Throttler is here with two interesting and irregular stuffs - a bit different
tunes what You can accept from this Hellenic export. 'No Hold Back' is a solid
techy choppage-kind track with huge power in it. 'Pulses' is a digital sledgehammer
which refers to an ancient era of hardstep and a possible way to the hardcorish
drum'n'bass. This release is another proof which states: there is reason of
existence of oddish breaks and drums!

Who is Throttler?

“Some decisions in life require no thinking. Some things are meant to be. Obstacles
are there only to overcome… Conductor of the machine guns symphonic orchestra,
performing to droids in the constructions factory gothic underground cathedral, a
play dedicated to everything unholy and destructive on this earth.”

Begun as a raver back in 1992 with techno and breaks. He was firstly influenced by
Prodigy, Acen, Messiah, DJ Hype and more. The dark times of 1997, drew his attention
to Drum & Bass. In 1999 he started as a DJ as an amateur at local parties and at the
same time worked as an employee at a local record store. Music was a part of his day
life.

He started music production in 2002 with amateur equipment. Now uses “the holy trinity”,
Cubase, Reason, Wavelab, which haunts his project studio. His music is mostly dark, hard
and fast, constantly alternating from notorious landscapes to tech dance-floor sound and
vice versa.

In 2004 he gets announced “drum n bass producer of the year” in the “Unofficial Greek
Drum n Bass Awards”, and at that time, more active than ever, sets up the “Nation Of
Distortion Crew”, a crew devoted to underground electronic music with greater cause to
organize the hardest electronic dance gigs in Greece. At the same time he started
podcasting in net radio shows.

After the first releases, he drew the attention of various labels, always dedicated to
underground electronic dance. More releases brought bookings and since 2007 he has had
several international acts as an opening act for artists similar to his sound, as Evol
Intent, Ewun. Spor, Enduser, and more. In September 2007, Knowledge Magazine includes
two of his tunes in the included mix disc, and in May 2008 Soundmaker Magazine publishes
a full interview of him and Lowbss, vocalist of every lyric in his tunes.

Currently, he is working on new ideas and projects and performing worldwide to spread
his music, his perspective, his way.

Few Words:

T-FREE and Black Hoe together present TFBH001. It is an X-Mass joint
release of both labels with one tune from each and a common Catalog
number, expressing their respect for each others work.

Plater is a still unknown newcomer from Estonia, bringing a dense
Techno-DNB roller with a crazy snare.

Isotop from Kaiserslautern (Germany) had his vinyl debut in 2008 and
Kaiza from Mannheim (Germany) should be known from his releases on
T-FREE and Tilt-Recordings together with his former partner. They bring
a subtle Techno-DNB tune with 4/4 break.
